About the Series

Since 2011, writers have come from across the globe and around the country to sojourn at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). They are drawn here by the Singapore Writing Residencies, run by the Division of English with co-funding from the National Arts Council.

The NTU-NAC Writing Residencies is a series of chapbooks that features works from the writers in residence, mostly stemming from their time at NTU. The five writers in this inaugural volume hail from Britain, the United States and Singapore; their works range from fiction to poetry to stage plays. Together, they represent some of the most innovative and challenging writing being produced in English today.
