i write a page is a close encounter with homegrown singer Kit Chan, without make-up and glitter. Written between 1990-1995, during which the singer recorded three albums in Mandarin and moved to Taiwan in a big way, the collection gives a glimpse of Kit as a person who feels and thinks deeply about her own coming of age, the important things in life and how she fits in the scheme of things.

Writing poetry is a therapeutic process for Kit, as well as an avenue to experience freedom of being her own self. Her poetry are about the people who touched her heart, (Mr. Turner), special places (Music Room), growing up and being a women (Women, Cork Out of My Head), among others. This is poetry from the heart—honest and endearing—a real gem.

This version comes with a CD recital of selected poems from the book against the original background music of Case Woo.
