Catherine Gomes is a Senior Research Fellow and Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University in Melbourne. She has written on transient migration, identity ethnicity, memory and gender in Singapore and Australia as well as in Asian cinema.
