Celebrate 60 years of Singapore's literary heritage in this special SG60 edition of Our Stories, On Rotation—an intimate, fast-paced afternoon where books, people, and ideas move.
This gathering invites you to rotate among tables,  each offering a short reading session and conversation point drawn from a book that speaks to Singapore’s rich cultural and environmental heritage. Some tables will even be hosted by the authors themselves!

📅 17 Aug (Sun), 3–5pm
📌 MICRO bakery kitchen, 78 Yong Siak Street
🎟️ $17.50 (incl. GST) – includes a beverage + 1 mini quiche + 1 cake slice

💬 From a kampong girl’s quiet vanishing in a time of change, to memories of growing up in a transforming Chinatown; from Malay speculative futures and imagined realms, to orchids as living archives of loss and history, and essays that trace climate and culture through everyday life—we’ll explore titles like:

 – Neverness by Fairoz Ahmad
 – 17A Keong Saik Road by Charmaine Leung
 – Singa-Pura-Pura, edited by Nazry Bahrawi
 – The Orchid Folios by Mok Zining
 – Eating Chilli Crab in the Anthropocene, edited by Matthew Schneider-Mayerson
 – The Singapore I Recognise by Kirsten Han

🍹Cool down with a Pink Lemonade (caffeine-free), be bold with a Black Cold Brew, or have some Classic Teas, all while nibbling on a rotating plate of delectable cake options:

Carrot Cake 🥕
Banana Walnut 🍌
Chocolate Zucchini 🍫
Lemon Yogurt Chai 🍋
