Love in its many forms has historically been the touchstone of great poetry, from Li Bai to Rumi, Shakespeare to Neruda.
As a first-ever joint literary venture between the Philippines and Singapore, Love Gathers All breaks new ground. In this cross-cultural project, 127 love poems by 93 poets in both countries are published side by side in one volume, together with a selection of beautiful illustrations that invokes and celebrates the tribulations and ecstasies of love.
This unique publication will be a firm foundation of the cultural bridge that is being built between two close ASEAN neighbours.
This book is jointly published by Anvil Publishing (Manila) and Ethos Books (Singapore).
The hardback version doubles up as a blank journal, useful for jotting down love-inspired notes!
Also, a purchase of the title comes with a complimentary Love Gathers All bookmark (while stocks last)!
